COVID-19 safety policies
Effective July 1, 2023
General Principles of COVID-19 Safety
Participants at our dances agree not to attend our events if they are feeling ill or are testing positive for COVID-19.
If a participant knows they have interacted with someone who has COVID-19 within the past 7 days, they should consider self-testing within 4 hours of the dance; wearing an N95 or KN95 mask for our dance; or not attending at all.
Participants agree to notify the dance organizers if they become infected with COVID-19 (test positive) within five days after attending one of our dances. We will inform participants if a positive case is reported. We will not disclose the identity of the infected person(s).
Vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 is no longer required
We strongly encourage, but no longer require members of our dance community to be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2. We also encourage members of our community to stay current with boosters for which they qualify.
Masking is optional
Masking is optional for all participants.
We will have some extra N95 masks on hand in case individuals wish to wear a mask at any time.
