COVID-19 safety policies

Effective July 1, 2023

General Principles of COVID-19 Safety

  • Participants at our dances agree not to attend our events if they are feeling ill or are testing positive for COVID-19.

  • If a participant knows they have interacted with someone who has COVID-19 within the past 7 days, they should consider self-testing within 4 hours of the dance; wearing an N95 or KN95 mask for our dance; or not attending at all. 

  • Participants agree to notify the dance organizers if they become infected with COVID-19 (test positive) within five days after attending one of our dances. We will inform participants if a positive case is reported. We will not disclose the identity of the infected person(s).

Vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 is no longer required

  • We strongly encourage,  but no longer require members of our dance community to be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2. We also encourage members of our community to stay current with boosters for which they qualify.

Masking is optional

  • Masking is optional for all participants. 

  • We will have some extra N95 masks on hand in case individuals wish to wear a mask at any time.
